PM80 Foam Fire Truck on HOWO ZZ5207M4617D5
The PM80 is a foam fire truck refitted on the Sinotruk HOWO ZZ5207M4617D5 4×2 chassis, with the equipment compartment, liquid tank and pump room built as separate modules. It serves petrochemical terminals, oil fields, airports and full-time brigades in large and medium cities. Its headline duty is foam attack at 48L/s from a roof-mounted monitor, fed by a pump delivering 60L/s.
The 206kw engine produces 1190N.M and drives through a 10 forward gear manual gearbox, giving a 100km/h road speed and a turning diameter within 20 m. Approach and departure angles are 16° and 14°. The CB10/60-XZ pump holds 1.0MPa at 60L/s, and primes through a piston primer pump to 85 kPa of vacuum in 50 s or less.
The PL48 monitor sits at the top of the rear body, flowing 48L/s at 1.0MPa with a throw of 60 m on water and 50 m on foam. Rotation is 270° level, with 45° maximum elevation and 7° maximum depression. A PH48 manual air foam proportioner meters concentrate at 3% or 6% into the discharge stream. The split structure keeps the pump room and liquid tank reachable without breaking the pipework.
