JP60-JP43 Dual Boom Foam Tower Fire Truck 60 m Reach
The JP60-JP43 is a dual boom foam tower fire truck built for high rise and petrochemical work. Its main boom reaches a working height of 60m and the second boom 43m, with working radii of 31m and 13m. Upper floors of a high rise stay within reach of the monitor. Drive is 8×4 on a 13100x2500x3960mm chassis at a 42600kg gross weight. The M-cab seats 1+1.
Power comes from a D13C540SEUV turbo diesel rated at 540hp/397kW between 1450-1900rpm. Displacement is 12.8 L and emission control is Euro V. An AT2612F I-Shift 12 gear automatic drives through a 1995+4205+1370mm wheelbase. A 315 L fuel tank and a 110A generator with 2X12V/170AH batteries support long pumping and lighting shifts while the booms work at height.
The boom set is three down telescopic sections, three up telescopic sections and one folding boom. The lower boom works 0° to 88° and the upper combination to 164°. The turntable gives 360° infinite rotation and is controlled from a chair on its left side. Outriggers span 8970mm longitudinally and 5600mm transversely with automatic leveling on uneven ground.
Maximum running speed is at least 85km/h, and a backup tire travels with the vehicle. Step well ladders on both sides give access to the body. For freezing northern areas the waterway can be blown and swept, and outlets are available with an electric heating system. The PLC based automatic control system slows and stops the booms at preset outreach limits.
