6×4 Foam Tender Fire Truck 9500 L Water 1500 L Foam
This foam tender fire truck is built on a Sinotruk Sitrak 6×4 chassis. The flattop lengthened double cabin seats 2+4 persons. It carries 9500 Liters of water and 1500 Liters of foam. A CB10/100-XZ normal pressure pump delivers 100 L/s at 1.0 Mpa for sustained foam attack. The pump set is mounted behind the cab for a short suction run.
The in line six cylinder, four stroke diesel engine is water-cooled, direct injection, supercharged and intercooled. It is rated 276kw and 375 hp with 2560 Nm of torque under Euro IV. The rear cabin backrests carry four fixtures for self contained breathing apparatus. The crew can therefore mask up before the appliance stops. The foam tender fire truck is used at petrochemical sites, oil depots and airports. A large foam load and a long throw decide how quickly a tank fire is knocked down. That layout suits depots where the crew must work from the appliance.
